Allianz Marketing Strategies started in Amsterdam with an effective operation in crucial marketing and sales strategies for real estate and timeshare properties in the United Kingdom and some prominent European Union cities under promotional programs in Travel & Leisure groups. It was then that, with the exponential growth of timeshare sales in Mexico in 2007, Allianz Marketing Strategies opened operations in Monterrey, Mexico.
According to data from the World Tourism Organization, Mexico is currently ranked as one of the leading destinations worldwide since it is one of the ten most visited countries. In the year 2000, there were 311 active tourist developments in Mexico, and for the year 2015, there were 549 tourist developments with the modality of Timeshare, Fractional and Private Residence Clubs.
It is a modality that is flourishing rapidly both in Mexico and around the world. This significant growth was the reason that drove Allianz Marketing Strategies to enter and establish its operations in Mexico.
Today there are over 647 Developments in Mexico with Timeshare, Private Residence Clubs, and Fractional programs. Mexico is the second country worldwide in sales of weeks or Timeshare memberships and number of developments, only behind the United States of North America. Canada follows in third place.
It is indisputable that Timeshare exists because there is stimulated demand, which, together with customer satisfaction due to a higher quality in the product offered, has led to its enormous growth. That is why, in recent years, we have seen traditionally hotel organizations enter the timeshare market to complement their marketing strategy, for example, Marriott, Omni, Posadas de México, Melía, Sheraton, Hilton, and the Great Disney Corporation, among others.
